The Friends of the Ella Bess Austin - Terry Public Library have scheduled a number of events to coincide with the Town's "First Saturday" flea markets during the coming months. All events will take place at the library.

October 2 – Melanie Atkins book signing and publishing Q&A, 11:00 a.m.
November 6 – Judy Sanders book signing and reading, 11:00 a.m.
December 6 – Event for children with refreshments and crafts, time TBA

"Caught in the Villain's Web" Dinner Theatre by the Friends of Terry
Friday/Saturday, September 24 – 25, 2010; Thursday/Friday/Saturday (Sept 30/Oct 1-October 2, 2010 – The Friends of Terry Organization will present the play, “Caught in the Villain’s Web” in dinner theatre at the Terry Depot located at the far east end of Cunningham Avenue. Town of Terry Oktoberfest October 2, 2010
Saturday, October 2, 2010 - “First Saturday” Oktoberfest celebration at the Village Square Park from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Terry Business Association. Antique cars as well as 2011 vehicles from Skinner’s Chevrolet/GMC will be on display. Crafts and food vendors are planned as well as political stumping for candidates for local and state political offices is planned.
Terry Police Dept to Offer Self Defense/Security Awareness Class October 16, 2010
Saturday, October 16, 2010 - Co-Captain Diana Stewart will be conducting a self-defense and security awareness class from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at the Community Center located across from City Hall. Although this workshop is geared toward women and the elderly, anyone is welcome to participate. Although there is no cost to attend, it is appreciated if you could call in advance at (601) 878-2171 in order that we have an accurate head count in order to plan for class materials and room set up.
