{"id":1453,"date":"2023-03-08T21:18:54","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T21:18:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.terryms.org\/?p=1453"},"modified":"2023-03-08T21:21:58","modified_gmt":"2023-03-08T21:21:58","slug":"boil-water-alert-is-lifted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.terryms.org\/index.php\/boil-water-alert-is-lifted\/","title":{"rendered":"Boil Water Alert is Lifted"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"\/graphics\/posts\/2023\/03-Terry-Lift-Notice.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/graphics\/posts\/2023\/03-Terry-Lift-Notice.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective date:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; March 8, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public Water System: Town of Terry [0250025]<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located in: Hinds County<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Customers affected: This affects approximately 1,305 customers who are served by the Town of Terry [0250025] in Hinds County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Town of Terry [0250025] lifted the precautionary \u201cBoil-Water Alert\u201d for customers who get their drinking water from their water system in Hinds County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water system has been notified that the Boil Water Alert is released based on the Mississippi Department of Health Public Health Laboratory sample results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When your Boil-Water Alert is lifted<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Flush faucets<\/strong> for a total of ten (10) minutes to introduce system water throughout house plumbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Example:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>1 faucet \u2014 run for 10 minutes<ol><li>2 faucets \u2014 run both for 5 minutes<\/li><\/ol>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 faucets \u2014 run each for 3-4 minutes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flush any faucet <strong>a minimum of two (2) minutes<\/strong> to ensure clearing of the line serving the faucet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Discard any drinks<\/strong>, ice, food, etc, made during the Boil-Water Alert.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rewash<\/strong> any food or drink contact items (knives, forks, plates, etc.) with &#8220;cleared&#8221; system water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Check water filters<\/strong> (in faucets, refrigerators and elsewhere) and replace if necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Run dishwasher<\/strong> through a cycle or two before washing dishes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Effective date:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; March 8, 2023 Public Water System: Town of Terry [0250025] Located in: Hinds County Customers affected: This affects approximately 1,305 customers who are served by the Town of Terry [0250025] in Hinds County.
